RPGs Online?

I was wondering if there was any way of making an online game with RPG maker.  Being new to scripting I'll suck, but I'm a fast learner and I'm willing to read through any useful tutorials.  Can anybody, assuming hosting and all that jazz aren't an issue, help me with this task?

well there are "not fully working" scripts..
i suggest you'll avoid it -.-

other than that no, though you can try a program named Elysium i think (it has been called in so many names i don't really know the original) it's kinda good though quest and such npcs might come in a bit of a trouble since you need to script them (visual basic)
shops and basic stuff are already there and it's easy to change it's interface and so on though
and it got a quite good abs

well that's what you get from so called mmorpgs, but you can at least use rmxp graphics in it Xx

btw if you figure out how to make a normal quest npc (needing X item and reward with X things) then make sure you tell me

Try it again, megaupload definately has its problems, and refreshing the page should work. It always did for me anyway...

Heh, I'm a mod, I can see your IP. Actually, including you, there are four members here who have posted from that IP. Chances are, someone had that IP, and then when you got it, it was an IP that exceeded its limit on megaupload... or something...

**edit: tried it and it pissed my mum off who was using the master computer 'cas the thing reset itself.  You might've warned me that would happen.

Ahhh...so someone is trying to make an RPG Online...why I din't coem sonner i don't knwo.

Anywa, i will tell you a bt more about MMORPG's Creators....There is only 3 major ones, with onl one still getting new versions. Eclispe, is hebig one, with heaps of features..I use it too But the probelm is with Eclsipe, it has waytoo many bugs

then you have got Player Worlds, whcih is still trying to recover form website fails and teh fact is asn't has a new version in ages.   Thsi sofatre uses good RPg maker sytle Grapics, but still really should be avoided.

And then there is Elsium Sourse...Its really surfering. NO new Versions, name is changing allthe tie, and 3 idffernt fan fourms...but no offical forum, its hopless.

If anyhon wnats more infomation, pM me, or just post here. I know everything about them, and can give you links to wbsites, forums and downloads, if anyone wnats tem

K thanks tayuke and albino squirel i sleep prety deep nearly nothing can wake me up but if it's too noisy i might have scheduled times or might just put comp in another room and thanks for the tips oh and i can't find the online script for rpg maker so until i find it i think i just might use eclipse

EDIT: i got this link to a forum were this thing called netplay and there are two versions V1 and V2 and V3 is near completion and its for rmxp im gonna check it out it has a lot of scripts too. This may prove that online play is possible on rmxp

Interesting... I'll take a look, though I'm no good at this scripting buisness- never even manage to paste the script in the right place!  Maybe I'll ditch eclipse for it, maybe I won't.
