Skills(resolved)

I have this one character who starts at level 99, his class is say swordmaster. In the class I set it to learn the "last combo" skill at level 99. When I test play and choose skill, there is nothing there! I tried learning the skill at level 98, didn't work.

Any Ideas?

whats the skill? also I think you have to HIT that level to get it like make your guy 98and have him reach 99 and learn the skill.

It sounds like you're doing everything right; I just tested in my game and it worked properly. Are you sure you put the skill in the right class?

also is it a switch or an alternate uhm.. well mess with the skill

What I tried and failed:
-setting the skill to be learned at level 1
-changing the guy's level into level 1 with and setting the skill to be learned at level 1
-using events to make the guy learn the skill

Is there some kind of bug in PK that doesn't let you use skills?

No. PK is terrible, but I am pretty sure that it's not that terrible. There might be something wrong with your copyof PK. Try re-installing maybe... If you've tried all that, there has to be a glitch with the skills system. Either that or your Scene_Skills is using a font you don't have installed. Do ANY skills work?

In your class did you give him the correct battle command to select the skill?

Nope, I tried many other skills and still didn't work! I downloaded some demo for scripts and it worked there! I tried looking into the demo's database and its the same as mine, but it doesn't work on my game!! WHAT IS GOING ON!!!

Does ANYONE have the answer?
