The Right Approach

For A while i've been really struggling as to what to use to create it, but it found the perfect solution to my problem. So far it's looking fantastic, with so signs slowing down. I'm not going to stop this project, as I am more into creating it than I have been with creating any other game I have been involved in. So many possibilities. Which leads me to the story...for now...unless someone has something else...or I think of something else...

-Story-
Four gods... waging war for the power of the Eons. For years man has been limited by his power, and have been forced to turn to the gods for help, but a need found power has awakened. The Essence Crystals. Four crystals, holding the elements of life. Fire, Ice, Earth, and Wind. Divided, they bring choas to those around it, and together, will shatter the world...
WELCOME TO EGLIZA! Where dreams become a reality. You are a chosen ally of the Chariots, brave leaders of the lands of Egliza, and protectors or faith and prosperity. As the day grows old, evil had found it's way to the Essence Crystals. An unknown Spectre had been spotted in the Wind Shrine, and has caused a disturbance in the balance of nature. You must restore this balance, you must be the destroyer of evil, you must be a HERO.

The server and everything will run on my computer, 24/7, so there's no worries about that. I would like there to be an optional second server, but it doesn't have to be. If you know how to map in xp and would like to help, just send a pm, but It WILL get done reguardless. Any suggestions will be appreciated as well.

That doesn't look like a system I recognize. What program are you using? It looks great by the way.

Is that all you have to show? Right now this just looks like a generic Online project with nothing special.

Write up a story, or do something which shows off your skills, that should get more people to join

He's using Netplay Plus 1.7 for RMXP, which has been out for months.

this isn't 1.7. And I know I don't have much yet, but me and a friend of mine are doing are best to fill in those blanks. We will have everything ready in a week or so, this is just to let you guys know about it.

Meh, whatever version it is it doesn't really matter.

Good luck with this, although you probably should wait until 2.0 to do major development since the scripts are being changed.

If you gonna include the class Blizzard in the game, I'll give you an unfinished beta of the Aerion Online client scripts. Download an earlier version here any test it if you like.

Anyways. The mapping could use some work. It seems a bit too empty.

Yeah, but not to full. You have to understand that your not the only person that will be playing, so making a crammed up room like I would normally do will make it very difficult to move around.
