Hey, ever wondered what was each others' first map?

I have!

So, I created this thread so that we can show screenshots of our first maps, ever. Doesn't matter in which program.
I don't know if this topic has been created before, so I am sorry if it was. At least we get a new one!

Here's my first, first map. It's the "transition" between a town and a forest. Therefore, the road is surrounded by bushes and there are little trees. Although, two more trees wouldn't have hurt. (Created in 2005.)

My second map, the town. I got the house wrong, I know. However, what can I do? Those tilesets made me feel dizzy. Now I get them a little more. But I am still learning, for after this first try, I kind of gave up.

@Darklord: Yes, it is my first map. I admit that I changed it a little bit later, but I didn't really improve it. You have to consider that I have played many oldskool RPGs in my life and that I was 19 when I started working in RM. It's natural that my first maps are no crap. Sure, they were no masterpieces, maybe not even really good, but they were definitely no crap.

There's a lot of talent here!

I really like these maps. They are not perfect, but I've seen much worse things in actual RM games.

I hope to become a great mapper someday. But then again, I haven't created a game map since 2005. O_O I am just getting back to RM.

The last one looks great. It reminds me of a nice fishing spot I found about a mile from where I live.

...My first map was when I was stupid and didn't know about Layers... Or how to use walls... And use Out area's correctly... Or use events well... LOL!

Here's the swamp that I just made for nouman to grade.

I'm sure there's a bunch wrong with it. The swamp tileset is a bit tricky to use at first.

And after some tips about 15 minutes...

after the first time I saw that map I quit rpgmaker for a week xD I was like OMG I CANT DO SHIT...I later learned that was blizz he can do shit.

No really, Gilga is better. My maps are fairly above mediocre, but Gilga's are just plain awesome.
