NPC movement 2k3[RESOLVED]

This is the scenario,

You walk up the road with a member of your party as a npc,
He walks next to you the entire road.

The problem is when i set his movement to towards character he jsut wanders off, when i set it to vertical he goes one square at a time, it takes him literally 2 minuets to catch up to me.

Help.

It sounds like you just have his frequency or speed too low. Set speed to fast and freq. to highest and he should move alongside you. I actually haven't used 2k3 for a while, but I think that that is a feature.
