Ok this is kind of hard to explain but I will try. Ok In my game you are in a town, and you go into this guys house. You talk to him, he joins your party, then he disapears because I put erase event. But if you leave the map and come back in he is there again. How do you make him gone forever?

end of event page, click turn self switch A on, top of event page click new event page. New event page leave blank on left side click self switch box and leave it on A.

or use a conditional branch to see that the person is in your party or not.
