I know generly how to make a HUD but what I want to learn is how to get a varible that and event can change and have it display its current value in the HUD

lets say an event added 4 values to varible 0001

and lets say I wanted to display the VALUE of varible 0001 in the HUD How would I show that? What commands in the script would I need to add to make it possible >.> I did search varible not much showed up.
