RPG Maker Encyclopedia

Me and Dwarra have had an idea, an RPG Maker Encyclopedia website we are thinking of starting, where the members can post articals, tutorials and general rpg maker information making it any rpg makers hand book. (don't worry it wouldnt be forum, far from it).

We are wondering if it is worth it or not, and would you join etc.

It'd be more like a big Users Guide.
Encyclopedias normally explains it's history. Along with the stuff you mentioned.

Only in the sense that we would use Mediawiki as the script, since i recently learn how to edit the damn thing    you have to do it all in php, there's no admin panel or anything X.x

Well after checking the main page I see thebodge has updated the news saying it's open, so here goes.

WIKI

There's not many articles on it at the moment, which is why you guys should get posting.

Make sure you read articles already up there first to get an idea of the style you should use in your writing. Remember, you are writing to what is essentially an encyclopedia - so use proper english and write in a formal style.

I've just finished writing up my giude on exactly how to use the wiki, so have a look here if you're not sure of what to do.

You have to register before you can post or edit articles.

Well... i put the "open" post up several days before paul made his open post here, when i was still toying with the idea of making a proper rpg only based website for it not just a small part of rembrant. i guess i had my mind made up for me by someone
