[Power-up]

Magica is my new RPG made in RM2K. Yeah, I know, "OMG LOL BBQ! RM2K!" I just like the interface better (probably because I'm more used to it). I'll upgrade to XP eventually.

Anyway, the story is that long ago (how long ago has not yet been decided), the "Darkest One" summoned a demon disguised as a general of the Resaran Empire to steal an ancient magic book, called the Book of Tambur, which contained forbidden spells of a practice of magic that existed in ancient times. The land fell into darkness, but only briefly however, because before the demon could return to the Darkest One with the book, the "Hero of Magic," wielding an emerald sword appeared as if from nowhere and destroyed the demon and returned the book to the Palace of Tambur, where it was stolen from. As a result, the king as executed for a crime he did not commit, and everybody continued with their business as usual...until one day. A great shadow appeared from the horizon and blocked out the sun. Then, ferocious monsters appeared and destroyed entire villages in the darkness. The people thought the Hero of Magic would come to save them, but he never did...

Nobody knows what became of that kingdom, even to this day...

Why upgrade to xp? it looks great in 2k. maybe up to 3k but their are alot of xp games already here. I'm not stopping, but a game in 2k3-3k would be fun since we don't get too many.
