... people usually are in the bathroom when taking photos of themselves. Why is that so? I also take photos of myself in the bathroom. Could it be that we feel "private" in a bathroom and try to express ourselves in some way where nobody has the chance to see us?

I don't have a decent sized mirror in my bath and I do it anyways. My sister has a large mirror in her room, yet she never took a photo of herself in her own room. She does it usually in the bathroom. Isn't that weird?

That's a very good reason actually, BOE. Another would be that there is very little to distract from the target of the photo.

I dont take pictures of myself, but i think that Silverline and BoE have the main reasons, as thats where most people's best lighting and mirrors are.

That's why you lock the door. I mean, who would walk in to a bathroom if the door was closed!? If that's how your family is, I'd be much more worried about someone walking into the bathroom while I was taking a dump or something! Jeez.

I agree with Blizzard on this one, I myself feel Very Secure in the bathroom and feel quite relaxed and calm. So I think it's very possible to be a sociological thang goin' on with the toilet photos.

I have a bar fridge in my bathroom...
Stocked with a lot of fresh beer and pork snacks.... ... ... 

I also have a TV ( 32 LCD  ) so I never have to leave. I could live in there...
