When I try to run my test game (or any fulscreen RPG Maker 2000 game), The bottom half of the screen is completely black! This is very frusturating! I mean like TOTALLY! I do have the latest verion of Direct X by the way, so don't give me all that jazz. Many MANY thanks to anybody who can figure out why this is happening.

Hrmm.....try, when you have the game up, to press F5 and see what happens. That useually controls the screen (along with F4, which makes it Game-boy size to original size)

Power-up

Well, thanks, but you've got your buttons backwards. F5 makes it gameboy to original and F4 is fullscreen, which still doesn't work.

Get Blizzards Fullscreen? script, which can be found in "Blizzards Tons of Add Ons"

Blackdragon

This is for rpgmaker 2000 which doesn't use scripts.

Now I fell very stupid. Sorry for watsing your time.

Power-up

That's alright. I'm really confused why this is happening though, because it works on my old laptop, but not my PC...

Could be a problem with the graphics card? I don't know but something like this normaly resultes when your computer doesn't support some images. But then again I could be wrong.

Deliciously_Saucy

Same problem with 2K3 on my end, just don't worry about it, a lot of people don't play in full screen mode anyway...

Power-up

That's what I've pretty much been doing, but it'd still be nice to play in fulscreen.

Fortis

If you have xp, that is probably the problem, Xp has a problem with DOS games.

Power-up

No, I've got RM2K.
