I'm getting tired of sifting through the Projects/Games folders trying to find a good 2003 game in the midst of all the XP ones, so I'm making a topic for it. I already have Yossy's two games and Sunset over Imdahl, so don't recommend those to me. But any others would be total awesome. Also, profess your love for RPG Maker 2003 in this thread.

Arrow

Maybe the original version of Maia 2K7?

Malson

Tried it. Wasn't very impressed with it. I'm guessing 2K7 is better.

Lord Dante

I havent seen any good ones besides the ones you have and the mentioned ones.

SOrry :/

Malson

That's alright. At least you were considerate enough to make a worthless post about it.

King Anesis

Ah yes I remembered a game I'd seen the Legend of the Philosopher's Stone, with a CBS/CMS, except it was onyl a demo.

The thing with the original Maia is it was VERY tough for the first hour. It is not very balanced, but if you can get past the first hour, it is probably the best 2K3 game I've played.
I review RPG Maker Games. If you want me to review yours PM me. If you want to read my reviews, check out the review forum.

I am actually working on a 2003 game right now. But sadly, I can only use the default resources. Nothing may be added, because it is for a challenge that Kathis placed.

I have the story already, and a design document explaining the game in more detail. But I will not post any topics until I have some screenshots and maybe a playable demo. After all, this game is not made to be the best thing ever. I want it to be good, of course, but for self satisfaction and for the players' entertainment. So it won't be crappy, or so I hope. I'll try to demonstrate that good games can be created without the need of custom resources. What you need is the imagination, the creativity, the originality, the dedication, and the necessary knowledge.
