um..you should watch its a cool fight...so basicly this is what heppens....rock lee take the wieghts off his legs so he is faster so he can go around gaara's "sand shield" so he realizes he must use his best teck. he opens open 5 of cylestial gates(of basicly the gates are major portals for chakra realease  but if used it might cost the user his life...so after that little bit lee try his hardest to beet gaara but gaara kicks ass and he almost kills him but only cripples him...so he can't be a ninja anymore(watch some even later episodes to see what happens to him)...but a fight i suggest watching...is naruto vrs gaara.....and sasake vrs naruto is awsome to(chidori vrs rasengun)

I saw part of the fight between gaara and lee, but what happened was that
lee used the secondary lotus technique, the one where he wraps them up
and then throws them into the ground, and then he's all wiped out from
doing that and gaara nearly crushes him in sand when master gai steps in
and destroys all of gaara's sand. and then the clip ended and I didn't get
to see who won.
