problem with having more than four charaters

Ok I have the squad based movment script and i was told that it enables you to have more than 4 characters, but the problem is when i go to my menue and want to acess haracter 5 and up I cant because it wont scroll down to let me select the character!!! Any one have any sugestions? Im using the ring menue.
