Theres a mod somewhere for phpbb that lets members choose their own custom titles, if he wants to install that or something :|

lol no offense but you lack a little knowladge in leadership mate, when you come up with a new idea it's good to show examples of another (like zxm) but showing you as an example is er... it doesn't look very good -.-

i would agree special titles are in place but why making it so easy?
i mean who the hell cares if i and some friend call each other "the naked cows" or whateva

let's give special titles to truely special people

maybe the council from your other idea can be a judge or the mods and we can have a contest

there are hmm.. quite a bit of stuff in rm

so say we can have competiton titles (having them rechanged every month and having a new competition every month)

so the titles can be:
1st place scripter
2nd place scripter
3rd place scripter

(the contest will be to bring something that you did 100% alone, easy when it comes to scripts cause that's all you can do but say resources- you'll need to make a charset out of a kaiser and not rtp)

the areas will be
scripting(no stupid 1 line edits...)
eventing(no door entries allowed lol)
charsets(no rtp)
tilesets/battlers(omg if anyone can make a tileset 100% on their own >> they are together since they are harder to make than charsets if it's from air but hardly anyone make any)
story telling (make a story and see what happens.. gonna have to be a story  good enough for a game though not "one time i walked, the end")
and even a little mod title ("omfg supa mod of the month") so that the mods will have what to work for

am i forgeting something? (title screen/gameovers/animations are a bit too easy to make to have a title for and thats why they are not there.. unless someone thinks otherwise)

and meh titles judging but what you feel like.. again with the blaze or ace or the next blaze after it.. and that will require crank to change the ranks all the time which is tons of work.. meh... Xx

I think that we should drop the whole ranking by post idea, create a level system, but have you prove your level, and have it a public debate. If you say bad things, you go down a level after a while, if someone asks for the poster's level to go down.

well seeing as crank set mods that he trust, he should, seeing as he is 99% of the time not here, set a "head mod" and give him admin powers..

And does Crank even trust anyone that much? We really dont see it so because if he did someone would already have that power.

What we do need is for people to less spam up the place, and since i seem to have been the one to begin it all, i shall now begin the halt to it.

Anyways your idea is alright for some sorts, custom titles for custom members. That way people know who really earned their position and those that spammed (Ie me).
