DS is better by far.

1.I can play roms/iso any where now.
2.Mine was cheap($200 tax exempt ist usally around 300 with tax)

the futures are nice like mp3 player(but we got Ipods and cd players for this)
and playing moives(suck cuz you can't play regular dvds...

Reasons for DS
1.Touching is good so long as a old man doesnt do it
2.AW:DS,MK:DS,FF3DS,Xenosaga 1+2 DS,Meteos and AoE DS
those are just a few of what I'm looking foward to
3.Pictochat is good in borng classes
4.I no longer need a alarm
5.Kick ass battery life
6.backword compadible
7.Can you say no to nentendo AND mario?

The PSP has the biggest screen I have ever seen for a portable gaming system. That alone is the best feature that should make you buy it. But if not, try Dynasty Warriors, GTA, Need for speed, Metal Gear Acid, the list of great games goes on and on.

As you can see, the PSP graphics are at least tiwce better than the DS's. So, many mainstream games are going to be much better on it. However, the DS is very innovative, and needs to diverge from the norm in almost all of it's titles.

I hate it when psp fans show off the psps graphics like it was the best part and compare it to the ds

Let me tell you something the psp version is already for ps2.xbox and gamecube so y bother.

If you think gaming is all about Graphics then you must open your eyes.

i dont got anything agianst the psp.is that i hate when people compare the graphics of the psp version and the DS!! hoe come you cant compare it with mario kart? :D

personally, I think SOny screwed themselves over when they made it so that the disk formatting is different on the PSP than normal DVDs and the PS2

I'd play on the bus to school, at school, on the bus back home, at home, in my bed at night, then in the morning before I go to school and repeat the cycle all over again. Even the port games like Mario 64 DS offered so much more than the original version that I'd beat it countless times and never get bored of it. WarioWare Touched! was a genius game, utilizing every bit of the touch screen as humanly possible.

I also had a PSP for a short while. Much to my dismay, the only games I could find for it were sports games and racing games, all of which were either straight ports or badly made original games. Sony focused too much on having that system do anything and everything, and not so much on the gaming. I buy handheld gaming systems to play games, and Sony just didn't deliver on that front.

Christmas is coming up soon, and I'm getting a DS Lite. There are so many games on that system I would love to play, whereas the PSP doesn't have one game I want to try on it, save LocoRoco.

That's my two cents, anyway.

Don't the new ds lites have cracked screens so the screens get dirty/ruin very quickly? I've heard quite a few ppl complain. oh Yeah mario 3 on 3 sucked and most of those games you mentioned arnt out yet but I am very much so enjoying my harvest moon currently on my ds.

anyways, i think that nintendo, not having a very good launch line up, lost a bit of support, but is now regaining it due to their contract with sqaure, and an impressive lineup of upcoming games. Children of mana, Tales of Tempest, FF3, the list goes on and on. yes, the PSP has better graphics, and yes, it has more franchises to it, but all in all, they are two unlike things.

Look at it this way. Sex and your favorite food are both great things in your life, but you cant cmopare them. The DS and the PSP are both great, theyre both handhelds, but beyond that they are totally built for different purposes.

I got an M3 PLayer for it, so I can run emulatiors, TV Shows, MP3's etc. Not to menation do all the sweet stuff it did before hand as well. I haven't seen anything from the PSP that would impress me enough to spend the kinda of cash they are asking.

Oh and I am a Nintendo Fanboy, yeah, that helps. Not a Raving Fanboy, just a Fanboy.
