FuRPG: The Team
Yes it's going to be big, huge even. Many possitions need to be filled and fast. The available possitions are:
Mapper(2)
The mappers job will be to create maps for the game. Pretty straight forward. Tiles will be included, but if you can make your own tiles that's great as well.
Scripter
Also pretty straight forward. Certain scripts will be needed such as for fishing, banking, and a special pet and summoning system.
Storyline Development
FuRPG is going to be a unique type of game. There will be an option to either participate in a largely RPG event within the game, or just create a life and living for yourself within the game. The storyline is obviously going to be diverse and very complicated. I have even considered making a team JUST for the storyline.
Imaginative
This sort of relates to Storyline Development, but in a different way. The Imaginative will give ideas to the scripters, eventers, and storyline workers, almost like a supervissor.

Oh, almost forgot, I am also good at eventing.
For example, once, I made a list about 130 events long :D

Marl, if you are just making the forums for the team and its temporarily, just make it on some free silly hosts like forumsvibe or freewebs

Whatever you use, don't use IF! If you change your mind and want to use a different forum, they won't give out the post data. In other words, you will lose all your members and posts. =/

Yes it will be temporary and I will be using phpbb server. I've used it for everything else in the past and its awesome. ;D

Uses IF...They do give you the post data, you just have to have an IPB.

Ya, you can transfer IPB stuff because you pay for that board, but the free one you can't. Kind of ironic, but I guess thats how they make money.

I don't think that's going to happen...Though if I were you I would start making cities, because if it's an RPG it will probably involve 1 castle town, and several ports, and tons of farming towns.

Why not? Payment comes in many forms. For example, you could pay me by designing a banner for my soon-to-come website, or downloading and reviewing some of my music in the Creativity Outlet. You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours.

Hiya Marlune,
I'd love to join in as a mapper if possible. I know we already have two, but I can do either that or possibly something with the storyline... and, I can scrape together some music (without guaranteed quality) if you're not willing to compensate Zypher. xP
If it makes any difference, I use the Postality Knights edition of RPG Maker, so I don't know if maps I'd make would be compatible with the paid version of XP or not... forgive the noobishness.

Calm down, Nick; The apocalypse is not coming if you don't get direct instructions from Marlune. Naphe is right; just start mapping. I've recently started work on a small farmstead, so... yesh. :)

I think having a sprite artist is pretty much a must, nowadays. You have to be original to succede, which is why I fail. :-X
Anyway, it'd be awesome if you would join us. But, seeing as how Marlune hasn't been on in forever... I dunno. :-\
