At least, that's what I think I'm going to do.
As some of you know, I've written some fantasy books (http://www.amazon.com//dp/B0106K7SGC/).
I'm halfway through 1st draft writing volume 1 in trilogy #2.
Numbers, right?
And with the release of RPG Maker MV and my new book, I think I'm going to try to cross over some coolness.
I've spoken with authors who have people send them their amazon receipt via email (no personal data there) to prove they have pre-ordered a book. Then the author sends them back their pre-release bonuses!
In my case, I'm planning on doing three things:
A PDF with the colors of nations and organizations from Trilogy 1 and 2.
A 6,000 word short story about either an event told from a different character's viewpoint OR something that happens in between the two trilogies.
AND a short (30-40 minute) RPG that occurs in the world of Gilia and drops a few hints throughout the gameplay about upcoming story arcs, characters, and other coolness.
What say you?
Thoughts? Pros? Cons? ProCons?

I think I'd make the book $2.99 USD with the pre-order, coming down to .99 cents after the second book comes out but without the pre-order.
Then i'd have to figure out if I wanted the game to ever be available again or to (shudders) sell it through my website or something.
Not sure...

1,500 words a day yuyu.
An hour-ish of writing would mean five 100,000 word novels a year.
And I don't hit that everyday, but that's my goal. :-)
