Hello all! :ladyj:

I have a request to ask each of you, and you may post as much or little as you like...
But I need you to gather music from Youtube!
What kind of music? Good question!

I'm looking for music you can write to, study to, anything that helps you focus or whisks you away to a new world. It can be things from movies, video games, anime, I don't care! I just want to expand my library and add new things to my list of music that I can listen to while I continue to write on my book.

I have lots to listen to already, but I thought maybe someone else could present some fresh music that I haven't yet found, which is always exciting for me! ^^

For me, that kind of music is instrumental music. That doesn't narrow things down very much, though. I don't even know where to begin!

Silent Hill games have some really otherworldly music and for me it can get me thinking creatively in ways I don't normally.

There's a metric buttload of movie/television soundtracks that could fit here. This is just one off the top of my head:

For me, the score for the show Lost defines most perfectly what you're looking for, simply because there is such a wide range of things covered. Considering almost every major character (of which there are a lot) and location receive their own theme music, the amount of music is staggering and most of it is amazing:

It can't be used for the 'everyday living' scenes in the book, but most definitely CAN be used for the 'adventuring fields' or 'conflict with an enemy'. Like, I totally just saw a scene in my head that this song would be perfect to have in background when I write it, so that's fantastic!

Well, I'm seeing plenty of music now that I could definitely draw to!
When I draw, I like lyrical stuff that's chill like this so that's all perfect. ;D

But lyrics are hard to listen to when I write...
I mean, you got your thoughts going on in your head, then you hear voices in songs, and all you can think about is singing along and I get easily distracted... ;9

Anything instrumental or chillax you guys can think of? I'm not overly 'peppy' either, so it doesn't have to be upbeat stuff. I'd almost go with mysterious or sometimes even eerie things are awesome to listen to.
Even if I'm not writing something creepy, yanno?
