I showed how grateful I was by putting the picture on malson's wall :)

However children are taught that mrs. is the polite way to prefix a woman's name whether they're married or not

Really I think Mrs. should just be standard now. It's almost 2015, I think we've evolved enough as a society to realize a woman's marital status isn't the most important part about her.

I go by "Ms. Deanna" instead of "Ms. Coulton" because my mom also works at that tutoring center and it would confuse the kids. :) He originally put "Mrs. Deanna", and I told him I wasn't married, so by time he wrote the second part ("Ms. Deanna's boyfriend"), he fixed it. :V He originally just drew the picture and said "I don't know why there's a random dude in it, but ok". And then one of the girls said "that can be Ms. Deanna's boyfriend!". So, he added in that part. My two oldest kids ganged up on that clever idea. B)

...But I guess I could write a book that lists all of the stupid things my younger students say.

Spoiler for Some of my favorites:

"I wish I had a thousand fingers." (I don't even know where that one came from)
"MY DAD LOOKS LIKE A GIRL!" (his reason being because his dad likes flowers? later on, he claimed he said "doesn't look like a girl")
"WHAT? I AM NOT YOUR CHILDREN!" (in response to directions in his book that instructed adults to "read this to your children")
"THE MOM IS HOT!" (he didn't know that "hot" meant sexy, he was thinking of literal heat)

And a couple writing assignments that made me lol:
"The worst day of my life is when my mom took away my xbox because she said I played it already. But it was the weekend and I normally play it on the weekend. So I didn't get to play xbox."

"'No! I didn't want twins!' The husband was mad at his wife for having twins. 'I couldn't have done anything about that.' The wife said, but she secretly really wanted twins."

I don't even remember the context...he just randomly said it once lol
