Title: Recent Staff Changes
Post by: tSwitch on February 13, 2013, 07:37:50 PM
There has been a rather dramatic shake-up in the staff ranks of RMRK.  Some hidden staff is now in the open, and some staff members have been demoted, or have stepped down voluntarily.

In the interest of full disclosure, the current staff is as follows:

Roph (http://rmrk.net/index.php?action=profile;u=273)
Modern Algebra (http://rmrk.net/index.php?action=profile;u=2930)
Crankeye (http://rmrk.net/index.php?action=profile;u=2)

Anski (http://rmrk.net/index.php?action=profile;u=379)
NAMKCOR (http://rmrk.net/index.php?action=profile;u=3489)

LadyJ (http://rmrk.net/index.php?action=profile;u=5726)
Zylos (http://rmrk.net/index.php?action=profile;u=5172)
Malson (http://rmrk.net/index.php?action=profile;u=2572)

Arlen (http://rmrk.net/index.php?action=profile;u=2408)
Yuyubabe (http://rmrk.net/index.php?action=profile;u=15930)
Acolyte (http://rmrk.net/index.php?action=profile;u=14269)
Gracie (http://rmrk.net/index.php?action=profile;u=14929)

Former staff includes: Irock, HaloOfTheSun, Zeriab, Grafikal, Joy, Arrow-1, and DrSword.
Those who stepped down, their reasons are their own, and I will not pretend I speak for them.

We will continue to maintain RMRK, and look forward to 2013.

I came here to edit this in, thank you for mentioning it though.

Lol, I was going to make a post like this, but I'll just hijack yours:

A new policy is that anyone with a moderator or admin position now must have it in the "open". This wasn't always designed for them to be "hidden" mods. If somebody already has a primary membergroup, sometimes just adding them into a moderator group might mean it's there as a secondary membergroup, meaning the badge is not visible.

The loss of positions is not malicious, just a long-needed cleanup.

It's probably not much of a secret anymore, but Zylos and I were hidden mods.

I hope no one thinks this was done to replace anyone who stepped down, because I highly doubt that's the case. You guys are all irreplaceable I feel I will never live up to the standards of awesomeness of the mods I spent my RMRK childhood with (which wasn't all that long, granted).

Cool with me. I never did anything except fulfill name change requests. It's been forever since I've been any kind of noticeably active.

Might as well remove me from the list as well. Not because I'm butthurt about anything, but because the most I've been here in the last 2 months has been like a day, and I'd rather it go to someone who is more active.

I should also note, Holk (and halo) go into a "retired moderators" group that still lets them into the mod hut.

Also, yuyubabe has a special permission which lets her manage awards. Hopefully we'll be seeing some new general awards soon :)

Congrats, Aco! I'm glad it went to you!

I suggested her because I thought she would do well and that you would approve her as your replacement :]

I have the carfax app and it lets you put in DIY service records. I also keep the receipts. But I dont know if the DIY service shows in the official report. In any case, a picky buyer will be able to tell if you maintained your car well and if your receipts are legit.
