Post by: tSwitch on December 22, 2012, 09:13:48 AM: After some much needed encouragement ( :tpg: ) I'm actually enjoying drawing again. My latest work is a bit venty though, so I'll post something a bit less mopey here.

Yeah I love thick lines/hard angles so I'd definitely say he was one of my influences growing up.

Lol thanks...it was my first go at seriously drawing something on my iPad with a stylus. It makes a pretty good sketchpad, but I really need a pressure sensitive pen for it.

Come on now, don't be so down on yourself. There are so many artists better than me ( I still think Gracie is, for example ), and instead of looking at it as a contest where only the best deserve praise, think about it like...they're inspirations.

Try out their styles, see how they draw things and try to remember it when you do something similar. Just draw and draw and eventually you'll have something your own. It's never really over either.

Work until your idols become your rivals.
