You beat me to my next thread. I would say though, this is more of a "Take all my money," more than a "Fucking Finally," because nobody knew it was coming. Also, there's no release date.

I am replaying Baldur's Gate II right now. I wonder if I should wait for this.

Apparently they're dropping hints about the reason they're doing this, and the big idea is that they'll put out a third iteration in the same engine.
