Title: [RMXP] Mapping Problem [SOLVED] :D
Post by: Toasty on February 04, 2011, 09:53:12 AM
Can anyone explain to me, why the walls shows through the windows when I put up a window on a wall?

I tried both putting the windows at the 2nd and 3rd layer, but the walls still shows...

Any ideas.?

I'm assuming this is a custom tileset that you imported. That part of your window was either the same color as the background color you selected when importing or it was transparent when you imported it. You can fix this by opening the tileset in an image editing program and setting that part of your window to a slightly different color from your background.

If you need any help, post your tileset and I can try to take care of it.

Didn't really understand, what you meant, but yeah, it's kind of custom; I just handpicked some different things from some of the other tilesets and combined it to the one I'm using now.

So, here is the tileset that I used in the screenshot from above :)
Please tell me what you did with it, okay.? In case I run into the same probem again some day ;)

I made the window a different color than the background.
