Up until May 2010, RMRK had a long-running tradition of recognizing a Project of the Month (http://rmrk.net/index.php/topic,15623.0.html). While there were a number of reasons for retiring that system, it was never for a lack of excellent projects; RMRK has been around since RM2k3 and has a long history of being home to some of the most distingushed and talented amateur game designers in the RM World. It is once again time to shine a light on the talent of these individuals by recognizing, celebrating, and encouraging these game makers, while at the same time giving beginners example projects to which they can aspire. For these reasons, I present the new Project of the Season award! For more details on the award and how candidates are chosen, please see the main topic (http://rmrk.net/index.php/topic,40140.0.html).

Without further ado, the candidates for Project of the Season: Winter 2011 are:

And the winner is joy (http://rmrk.net/index.php?action=profile;u=7153), for her work on The Order of the Marten (http://rmrk.net/index.php/topic,31412.0.html) (as if she needed another award :P)

Everyone congratulate her and her team (Holk, grafikal, and EvilM00s) on this wonderful achievement!

The results were very close and so be sure to congratulate all of the other nominees on their amazing projects as well.
