I assume for anyone good with getting an aluminum effect in photoshop it'd take an hour. I am picky, so I will look for something that is up to what I assume good quality is.
server should be 960px in width, and no more than 150px in height. Looking to pay about 50$ish to anyone that can create something I like a lot, and of course if the overall project is accepted, a bonus will be given (im not cheap :3)

p.s. I'm just going to make it vector. that way you don't have a limited image size. It'll look fairly raster when I'm finished but still be vector 100%

oh good progress! I should mention that it shouldn't look like the xserv just well, similarly sized and styled ;o sorry for that.

I'm not certain what you mean by similar? Like, do you want parts of the server not shown? or like more vent holes or something like that. Or do you mean just it from a different angle? Maybe thicker and not so thin? Please give me a little more info :]
because, at the moment, I'm rolling with this thus far:
I tried, and failed at making a server like the xserv with that sort of feel. After the size and case is done, is when I'd add things like a screen, knob, and just some other server junk. I just can't really get it there ;o
