Title: 2009 - The Fourth Annual RMRK Awards
Post by: Roph on November 15, 2009, 08:42:39 PM
Time flies; it's already time for the fourth RMRK Awards!

If you're already familiar with how these work, you can jump right into the nominations subforum (http://rmrk.net/index.php/board,186.0.html) right away to get suggesting on who you think is most deserving of appreciation, fame and Yeyinde collars :blizj:

The RMRK Awards started in 2006 as an annual event where everybody can nominate and then vote for other members in a set of predefined areas. Ranging from who is best at creating maps in RPG Maker, to who is the most handsome male member.

There's a few guidelines you're encouraged to follow to make this easier for everyone involved:

1. Try and keep the spam to a minimum in the nomination threads.

2. You are allowed three nominations per award. These nominations can be individuals or groups as applicable.

3. When writing nominations, don't just give a name. Include reasons why you're nominating them.

4. When nominating someone, their full present board name should be included. A link to their profile is helpful, so other viewers can easily follow it and check that person out. You can find the (searchable!) member list here (http://rmrk.net/index.php?action=mlist).

Start nominating now! (http://rmrk.net/index.php/board,186.0.html)

Browse the threads in the subforums for the Awards that have been chosen, and post your nominations (as per the rules above). Nominations start from today (Nov 15th), and there'll be 2 weeks of nominations followed by a (planned) 2 weeks of voting.

As said before, any discussion about the awards themselves goes here (http://rmrk.net/index.php/topic,35592.0.html). Post if you need to, no spamins

Until the 20th, you can also suggest extra nomination categories for consideration :)

Good luck to everyone involved!

Note - this is just a copy of the original 2009 Awards topic for the frontpage - the topic can be found here (http://rmrk.net/index.php/topic,35592.0.html).
