Order of the Marten - Recruiting Spriters

So here it is, looking at this pile of work to do, I've decided it may be best to delegate a bit of it.I won't twist anyone's arm, but I'll post this up and see if anyone's feeling like lending a hand.

What it's for: Order of the Marten, Made in VX

Project Topic: http://rmrk.net/index.php/topic,31412.0.html

What I need: A spriter (or two I guess) who'd be willing to do some charset editing. I'll provide the basic sets, what I would need is some editing to create character animations. Stuff like kneeling, gesturing with hands, nodding, drawing weapons, wiping countertops, picking up things.

Examples:
Here's some I prepared before the show!

And an example of the sprites I'm using:

So, here it is. I can offer no great gifts for the help other than being a part of the team and the top-billing credit when we get a release.

So I'm a little lame at asking for help.

sounds neato. I'll give this a test drive. Just let me know which one and what it is you want. I can do just one for now. :)

Sweet...hmm..lesse, I need the girl on the second row, third column raising her arms and gesturing as if she were explaining something, using her side view, either side is fine.

Thanks man!

Uhm...bump.

So, OotM is revving back up, and now I need this assistance more than ever since I'm so busy with classes, work and life. I still can't offer anything more than extreme gratitude and credit on a really cool game! :D

There's only 6 frames, what you see in the lower left and lower right are duplicates of a couple in the sequence of in the above, but the far arm is raised 1 pixel so it gives a little more movement if you use those. I use all 6 is a certain combo for that GIF. It's running a little fast too though, but you can slow or speed it up depending on your wait frames for the character.

The GIF I posted runs at 6fps, it's 17 frames long. This is the image sequence I used for that GIF that corresponds with the character sheet: {1, 1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5, 6, 4, 4, 4, 5, 3, 5, 4, 2} and then looped.

OMG! So perfect! I love that it has enough frames to really give it a unique animation each use. You so freaking rock.

This also lends well to recolors and head swapping!

It took quite a few tries to get it right lol. Glad you like it.

Come to think of it, you could flip it horizontally and make her face the other way too. It would work the same.
