Cool nice job man 8)

Cute!! I didn't know you were an artist.
[constructive criticism]
The eyes might be a little too close together, and your "center lines" aren't lining up with the character's nose... that's the object of center lines: to give you a template of the direction they're facing, with the nose right along the vertical one and intersecting with the horizontal one.

[constructive critism= Dr Swordopolis] the mouth is a bit odd maybe its too long, did you draw on comp or scan and if so what kind of inking pen/marker did you use (ZOMG im an artist too =0)[/constructive critism]
-
Yup, the mouth is a tad bit long (was bored in history class), I just draw with (pencil for guidlines) and gel pen for the drawing. Then I scan (black/white).
ZOMG thanks for teh comments :^^:
NOTE: if you can't see it, his left eyebrow is raised.
-
yeh thats probably why its so thick gel pens...i use an inking pen real thin edge and messy ink i think its a spoon pen with a alunimum nib
-
Hey, that is really good man, you should really keep improving this, that is no little talent, that one is a good drawing! You should do more, and post them here, I wanna see them!
-
you're strong my padawan! may the force be with you forever!
-
Wow that good! Faaaaaar better then me (yep i sometimes draw too)
You will surely improve in notime.
-
There is improvement, but the brim of his hat is defying the laws of normality. :^^:
-
I think it's fine. But what do I know.
-
Nice art man.
Personally I've been drawing recently.
From looking at my books (advanced books on manga, oooOOOooooh) your head to neck ratio is too big. If you fix that and learn proportions you'd most likely be 10 times the artist I am, right now I'm working on a furry comic with the people from the furry club in it.
Anyway good luck on getting the final art done for your game and having it look good!
-
Pfeh, there's no such thing as a "how to" art book. No one can teach you how to express yourself.
-
Personally, i think that when youre putting all your effort in it, it walways will look good. Cause i like art where there is some effort putted in (and thats also the reason i hate "modern" art.)
keep it up!

True, but it helps me with proportions, personally I have my own style, in fact multiple at that... but I just didn't have proportions, unfortunately I can't upload my art work right now...
-
You don't have to look to deeply into it, I've just got this personal thing against "how to draw" books. If it's proportion you have difficulty with, you need to get yourself an Artsit's Manikin. It's this little wooden guy you can pose to your liking, then use as a reference for any difficult pose while keeping your proportion in check at the same time. Cheap, too. Can find them for less than $10 at any art store.
