DMC is fun, but it annoys me how most XBOX fanboys are like "WELL IT SUCKS COMPARED 2 NINJA GAIDEN"
then Ninja Gaiden Sigma goes to the PS3, and DMC goes to the XBOX, and they're like, "WELL SHIT DMC IS THE BEST SERIES EVAR"
I mean, you have to expect double standards when it comes to fanboys, who don't use any percentage of their brain, but still... /:

I played DMC 3 and it sucked, i did not like it at all. Its not my type of game. Good story, crap game play.

Devil May Cry 3 was great, but i played the older games in the series and at the time i had fun, but i realised they change Dantes voice actor!

hard for me, i got stuck on agni and rudra and then my friend borrowed it in exchange for Mercenaries.
Havent gotten it back yet...
oh well. The gameplay is f*Cking awesome.

Two tips. Redo Mission 1.
And if you have the special addition, Beat them with virgil its easy because of his style.
Also Trickster works well one them.

Red Orbs Man. And leveling up your styles.
Spend your red orbs on upgrades and Vital Stars. Trust me i hate that mission too, Its a bitch. What difficulty are you playing on?

I dont remember, it's been a while. Believe me, i played the 1st level so much, the opening scene became slightly less bad ass.

I tried to beat DMC 3 but I couldn't beat Cerberus

DMC3 ruled and the others did, but the new dude i've seen on covers isnt dante, he is now all old and kick ass,
also ninja gaiden, i almost broke my TV when i punched it, and my hand ;9

DMC1 was widely loved and thought to be a ground breaking game with a level of difficulty for all players. I couldn't beat the damn scorpion on normal...which was like mission 5 or 6 >_>; After setting it to easy, I never had another problem beating bosses. Pretty sad if I may say so myself. After seeing the extra ending movie in DMC3, I finally understood why Virgil was like he was in DMC1. =o If you don't know, then play DMC3 and kill 100 enemies in the ending credits melee.
DMC2 was hated for being "simplistic in controls and gameplay." This, I agree with. It was cool doing so many cool tricks with little effort but after a short while, it got old and boring because it took little effort. The bosses were...boring actually. Just stand back and dodge while shooting millions of bullets in a good time frame of 15 minutes which again, doesn't require much skill or effort. Just eyes, nerves, and reflexes.
DMC3 was thought to be the next DMC1 but bigger and better. I agree on that due to the fact that normal kicked my ass around the first few times I fought a boss. After dying several times, I found stratagies that squeeked out wins with no healing items left and a poor rank at the end. Trickster is wickedly overpowered though. Three quick dodges at the max level? Only the final boss(NO SPOILERS! can't stand spoilers ^-^;) was hitting me after I maxed Trickster. It's the only reason I wasn't getting smacked around even more in boss fights.
I own all three and feel that each game has their ups and downs. I still think that the newest edition of DMC characters will have a devil trigger. Why is that? Because the fan base is going to be pissed if their character doesn't have devil trigger. That's something that you've ALWAYS had and a part of what made controling Dante so damn fun! It'd be like ripping out the main character of a huge series!

well over here it didnt have bad sales, may not have sold out, but it outsold the WII and 360... besides i dont own a 360 so ill be makin my mate get it for the PS3... then i shall steal it

Dante is still a major character, and I have a feeling for mabey the first part of the game, you are still him. I know your going to be able to control him, but Nero is the massive part of the game. Main character: Nero Supporting Characters: Dante.

Vergil wasn't supposed to be killed by Dante. He was supposed to be killed by some overly huge demon, I was re-playing the first one, and it shows Vergil. And you kill him again. So bringing him back again would be like a whole fucking Liquid snake thing. Out-rageous.

Megaman doesn't have a plot (anymore), it's just one of those game that you appreciate.

Well, DMC 4 is going to be good, but if they make DMC 5 with a new character, Im going to stick back to the first four. But since Im guessing they are going to have it to where you can play as Dante through the whole story if you beat the game cause Capcom roxorx, and if they did allow you to do that, he has the exact same moves. So it is like playing a upgraded DMC 3 with new plots, new missions and probably new moves.
And, before this even gets STARTED
(In b4 PS3 Dispute!)
They said there is no difference between the PS3 and the 360 port. Same graphics, same game. They made sure not to make people want the Ps3 version more than the 360, even with the PS3 price sink.

I think I might throw in Test Drive or Fear.
