Title: [Music] "The Mountain King Suite" and "Those Were The Times"
Post by: Tsunokiette on March 28, 2007, 03:56:47 AM
I'm writing the 4-5 piece suite based on "In the Hall of the Mountain King".
The King Has Arrived.
Nightfall.
In the Halls of the Mountain King. <<< Basically the original arranged differently.
Pursued.
And I may or may not include >>>> Execution.

I also wrote a song titled "Those Were The Times".

I have already written "The King Has Arrived" and "Nightfall".

All three of these songs are paino pieces, and are included in the attatchments.

Please note that "Those Were The Times" is called "Bob" (space saver) and the first piece in "The Mountain King Suite" is a tad too fast.

They're good. The only thing I can think of to suggest is use some lower octave notes, but other than that, its word.

I like them, though a better soundfont would do wonders for them ><.

You're using Finale: Click the MIDI tab, and then go to MIDI Settings, I think. Pretty sure it's the first thing in the list. Then click where it says like "SoftSynth" settings, and change the soundfont from Finale's to the one Silver gave you.
