I have to say, some of these are turning out really well. Also, I've been getting better at recording, so there should be no clipping this time around ~ There isn't any so far, anyway.
First up, Intention Of The Earth. This is probably the weirdest combination of instruments I've ever written for: English Horn, Bassoon, Alto Sax, Trumpets (With mutes), Acoustic Guitar, Strings, Bass Guitar, random percussion
EDIT: LOL, helps if file is attached. ^___^
Files are too large to put into one post. >.<
Battle With Gilgamesh. Yeah, everybody does this one, but I decided to take a different route. No distorted guitars, but jazz electric. In fact, is a jazz-rock type of version. Plays through once as normal, then it gets, well... jazzy.
This one is likely to change sometime soon, as something just doesn't feel right. I can't get the bass any louder, and it feels kind of empty. I might even throw this out altogether.
Fate In Haze
Nothing to say really, just pretty cool I think. I had fun though using the odd timpani techniques, like placing a cymbal on top of it upside down, and rolling it, while performing a glissando, LOL. There's not really a technical term for it, so I call it that.
Oops I stickied this. ;)
