Is it possible to use two chipsets on a single map with RpgMaker 2000?
id, but you could use paint and combine them..
Paint will not let me, it won't open the png file; I'm running on Windows ME though so that might be it; whenever I try to edit with Photoshop it ruins the file and RPGMaker won't read it
then you cannot, in fact, use 2 chipsets. Upgrade.
*gasp* lol, yeah....I'm having a relative co-sign for a BestBuy charge card, then I'm gonna lease a brand new comp ^.^
why not custom build? way cheaper...but will take awhile and might be harder. ;D
lets not get off topic.
Perchance put [Hopeless] in front of the topic, or [postponed] since we can't do anything about it and technically, although we answered your question, you're still having a problem.
If you were using rpg xp, there is a script to use X's tilesets in one map

he isnt using XP.
thats why I said "if you WERE using.." lol dante
Ah. Well, it could be infered you were impressing the use of XP on him.
Some maps have huge empty spaces and stuff you don't need. You could replace them with tiles you do need. You'd need to use Idraw, because of the palette to make them fit in with each other.
