I've been experiancing problems with t. Everytime I want my BGM to play it frezzes up for a few seconds then it plays. I got my music from NewGrounds. Can anyone tell me waht's wrong?
If its only freezing for a few seconds, I wouldn't worry to much. If it does bother you, try getting your MIDIs from someohwere else, like Google them.
does i work well with files from differnt sites? whats the file format for the music?
Hm, I'm not sure, and believe me it's long... like 10 seconds at some points. And I'll find what type of music file it is Numan.
EDIT: I've found the music file and it looks like an .mp3, is there something I should know, maybe I have to save it as a different file? It said it'll exept .png files...
If it's an mp3 and you're using RMXP, chances are it's a problem with the actual file. I recommend downloading Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/), and cutting out any long pauses that you don't want.
If the mp3 works fine outside of the program, either your RM isn't reading it properly, or it's a version that doesn't properly support it. So I guess I should ask first, which version are you using?

Not to be rude but .png is an image file. ::)
Lol, I know ;), and no there isn't a problem, I preveiwed it in NewGrounds, but I'll try that download you gave me.
If you're using RMXP, I reccomend exporting the file as .ogg when you're finished editing it.
Thanks I'll try it , and for helping me with the other thing too , I need to keep tabs.

No problem. It's in me to help people with things I'm good at. :D
Upload the files, I will test them and see if I get the same problem, then find a solution, and tell you.
Keep in mind that .mp3s are directly loaded into the game and if you use them, they play instantly. It's a different story with .oggs. They are decoded as soon as you try to play them. This will cause bigger delays on .ogg files if they are bigger.
If your mp3s are delayed, get any wave-editor, open them and look if there is some "silence" before the actual soundwaves. Delete that silence and just export them again. I also suggest using .oggs, but as I said, don't make them too big. It's always a good idea to cut them so their playtime is below 1.5 minutes, so the delay while loading them won't nearly be noticable.
