Title: [RESOLVED] slow fading effect?
Post by: Pelle on December 07, 2006, 09:38:54 PM
Hi.
I have been working on my game for awhile now, but still I dont know how to make the fading effects for Pictures or Text which I put into the game.
How do I make so the text is not "poping out" and instead, its slowly fading into the screen and then fading out of the screen?

Do you mean just appearing on the screen, then fading out?

I have played the Master of Everwind, and on that starting scene cut, the text:
Space Entertainment is fading into the screen, and then PResent comes after also fading effect... after 2sec both text are fading away...
ps. how do you make i.e. a fading Text before you come into the "New Game" selection screen?

for pics I think you can use the event called "Execute transition"
set up an event with:
Prepare for trasition
Show pic
Execute transition

for words I have no idea. Try what I posted for the pic, and reply back with the results
