^ how can i make it appear visible? coz i used it, but it wasnt there.
you can't link images off your computer's hardrive....you need to upload it to the web using an image host, then inserting the image direct link into the image tags on the fourm
well...
can you still tell me how to make an image visible to me when using it in a game?
hmmm...you mean show an image in gameplay? like have it appear on the screen?
If so it can be done using an event

ok, here is what i did:
I copied a skill image from a site to my icon folder, but when I go to my game folder, opened up the database, go to the skills tab, changed the skill icon picture to the one i copied from the internet, the picture didnt appear on the left side.
by the way, the picture is this image:

Image is in wrong format
here i'll do the dirty work:

;D
try that and reply telling me if it worked or not
it works! hooray!
how did you manage to make it visible?
Used photoshop, and saved it as a diffeernt file format that rpg maker can read.
im still a little puzzled by what you mean by saving it as a different file format that rpgmaker can read. :-\
images save as different files...rpg maker can only read certain type of file..(not sure what it is) I think png works..using photoshop, you have the option to save the file in many differnt formats.
if i dont have photoshope, is there still any other way?
ms paint? or gimp
And for the record, RMXP can 'read' : .bmp, .png. ,jpg
yes... All you have to do is open it in ms paint and then resave it as something else.
ohh, i see!
thank you all for your help! i really appreciate it ^_^
