How to make trailers for your games
I had been trying to find out how to do this since quite some time. Hopefully, I found out. Not that any of my searches worked. Luckily, I went to download.com and searched for software related to "Movie Making" and downloaded 'Auto ScreenRecorder 2.1 Pro. And that was it.
To make your trailer, download the 'AutoScreenRecorder 2.1 Pro'.
Once you have downloaded, record the strips. That was easy, wasn't it?
Now to put them together, you can use flash or whatever you want. I used 'Windows Movie Maker'. It's quite easy to use and is there in most(if not every) computer with Windows XP installed.
Drag and drop the clips into the Movie Maker. The put them into the storyboard and add titles.
idk...ever google rpg trailer tutorial or rpg movie maker
what!? use events. make a cutsceen
and if then if you want to still edit it, use "Desktop screen record" and do it.

Exactly. that would save us from some unknown download.
But if you want to go the recording way go ahead.
The whole purpose of this thing is to NOT use an .exe file. Suppose the conditions are such that you want to check out what a game is like without having to download a large executable file, you use my method. And files ARE large sometimes, especially when you have a lot of graphics and if you are using a dial-up connection, like me.
I made a trailer for mine using one auto event, a few maps and a pics of what i wanted in there... You don't need any video recording software it can all be done with RPXP.
Oh.. this is my first post on this site so hi *waves* :P

If you make it in RPG Maker, you get an .exe file, don't you?
Use Fraps? Thats what I'm doing and then using Windows Movie Maker and do a lil bit of this and that. If you want to download fraps, go to download.com and search "Fraps" (I think...)Recording lil bits and pieces of your battle system is a must!
