Title: [Resolved] Little problem with a lazy NPC in RPG Maker 2000

This is what I got:

Move Event: NPC  - 19 steps down
Move Event: Hero - 19 steps down

As you can see, both are supposed to walk 19 steps down, but the NPC always stops walking at the 18th step. Adding more 'Steps Down' doesn't work, he just keeps stopping at the 18th step.
Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Okay, adding screenshot in a minute.

Little explanation about the other Event Commands:
The two characters have to step 19 times down, then they get teleported to another map.

is there an option for "wait until move completion" if so turn it on and try...(I use Xp so I don;t know if thats an option)

I just checked, and I'm pretty sure there isn't an option like that.=(

Could there be another event placed on the 19th step?
Try putting Through ON or Phasing ON (Whatever it is called in the move event)

Yes, there is a Teleport event on the 19th step. I'll re-check it when I get back home (currently at school >__<).

EDIT: Home now. Checked the events. 'Allow Event Overlap' is on on both the character and the Event with the Event Commands.=S

EDIT: Okay...I tested the Event without the Teleport on the 19th step, and it is working. I'm going to try something.

EDIT: Allright, I just made a seperate map for this cutscene without the Teleports and it's working now. Thanks for the help.
