Hey everybody!
I'd just like to introduce myself to this forum as I'm just now starting with RPG Maker XP. I have used RPG Maker 2000 in the past, but unfortunately i never finished a game.
I'm not a complete newbie to programming but it will take some time for me to pick up on the language used in XP -_-.
I have a few quick question....
1) Would I need a separate script in order to add in message function that pauses in the text...so like \c[1] changes the color of text.....how would I make a similiar syntax for pausing in midway in a message?
2) The text in my messages doesn't go all the way over to the end of the screen; what do I need to alter in order for the text to go to the next line only after it goes to the end of the screen?
I'll continue to peck away at this script system.....I like the flexibility but it is definitely more difficult to master.

In 2003 it would be \! but I don't know about XP.
