Lol it's not that great. But take a listen.
It's a ok song used for RPG Maker kinda.
I actaully like it. It goes perfect with my prison map, it just needs harder bells, and the backround noise needs to be a bit louder, and its perfect for me.
people who like it whoa didn't see that coming lol! I can fix it up for you or at least try.
It's ok.. but way better then anthing I could make... keep up the good work! :)
Let's sse...
Your cymbals are a bit... misplaced. In fact, your percussion in general needs work. I suppose it's alright for an RPG Maker game, a dungeon in particular, but it gets kinda boring, especially if you were to hear it in-game repeated over and over. It also sounds empty, which is almost fitting for a dungeon, but I'm sure that was just coincidental the way it turned out. Still, it needs something more on the bass end... a tuba would probably fit well. Also, your timpani are out of range, lol, which I'm sure doesn't matter to you, since it's just some random song, but just so you know. ;) The melody is alright, but it could use some harmony...
You're off to a good start, but don't stop now! There are still imporvements that can be made, just take it a little bit at a time. :)
Lol thanks. It's funny wiht me being Section leader of my schools drumline that my percussion needs work but it was random like you said. Though I did have a doungeon in mind.
The taiko drum is good... wait, was there one? I can't remember now, I think there was, and if there was, you used it well. It was the snare, really. Maybe it's just me, but if I was going to use a repeating part, I would've made it more interesting.
The timpani was kind of cool, just got on my nerves being out of range.
EDIT: Actually, upon second viewing, I don't know what I was thinking, the timpani were perfectly in range LOL. Late nights fuelled by coffee will do that to you I suppose. :P
Yeah there was a Taiko drum
I don't know if this was awnserd, but really what software do you use to make this? any opensource?
Acttualay it was some shareware type of thing called MIDI Maker. You get a like 50 try trial before it makes you stop exporting the songs you make.
cool, will try out.
on a scale of 1 = 10 how hard is it to use the software (1 being any normal joe can do it 10 being only god can do it)..maybe not as high as god but you get it.
Lol its not that hard once you figure it out. I'll give it a 4 at least when you start then if you know what you wanna do it's not that bad.
LOL If you're going for free and legal, you might as well get Noteworthy Composer, as there is no trial period for the demo.
EDIT: Also this topic is useful. http://rmrk.net/index.php?topic=2659.0
Lol thanks I got it but now I gotta figure it out.
Anyone need me to add anything in the song to make it better.
