Im new in this forum, my inglish its no the worst but not the best as well, so ill try to express myself correctly.
Ive been doing some research and its not hard to noticed that u r a big reference in rm, so i think u r the best choise to clear up my doubts.
Im trying to grown up a project and i think that ill need manny scripts but i dont know their names (ill try to explain)
In my game almost the maps the hero use's a lantern, but i would like that the part of the map wich its not iluminated hide the npcs or itens.. for example, u see the chairs, tables, walls but not the npcs or itens.
Other thing that i think its a bit complicated to manage its a point & click script, using the fps's usuall controls ( a,w,s,d + right + left mouse click).
I need to an icon showing in map the hp points (i think its called hud).
A point & click bs (like shooting, or using knifes).
And the last thing that i can remenber, inserting passwords :f (for example my game its mostly a mind job game.. doing a anagram u get the password that u need to open a eletronic door or using in a computer to get some information).
Can u tell me the name os the scripts that i need and where can i get them?
p.s- Sorry for my inglish and for the enormous post
Best compliments,
Blade2k
Though I am not Blizzard, I would personally suggest a "Fog-of-War" script. I found a pretty nice one at hbgames.org a few weeks back.
Blizzard isn't here right now, but, yeah, like arrowone said, use the fog-of-war script.
I think when your asking from help from one member, giving them a PM would be a wiser choice....anyway, I agree with arrow and Indi.

Yes, "Fog of War" can help you. You could also make it with events (like I did in my game in one map), but just get the script and you will be fine. Also you should get a "Mouse Input Module" and a mouse control if you want the player to control the character with a mouse. Other than that you need something called "HUD script" to show HP on the map. You can do passwords with the usual events, a script is not neccesary.
You can get most of the scripts at www.hbgames.org/forums or www.dubealex.com
Have I forgotten to mention something?
Lol, I'm gald to hear I am a big reference in RM. xD
