Title: Input Hero Name
Post by: ChainFlat on October 26, 2006, 05:44:54 PM
For some reason, all of the text is invisible. Could it possibly be the system I'm using?

If so, could someone direct me to a place where I can download a new system?

By the way, this is RPGM XP.

First of all what is the System you are using? If you can post it. Second,  did you mess with any other settings?

Maybe you should re-install the game if its something wrong with the Program.

Or make a new game and go to its scripts, copy all of them, go to your game and go to the scripts, delete those, copy the ones you just got. Now your scripts should be back to default. Then from there just add the scripts you were using.

The thing is, I've already gotten sightly far... enough for me to not want to redo the scripts, rather.

So is there any other way to fix that? Also... I'm using the default system.

Do you think maybe the one from RM2k will work?

Im not positive. But when you say system you mean like "Cursor, Menu Outline, Etc."?

Yes.

I don't even know if that has anything to do with the text...

This isn't a big problem, it can be solved with one line of script.

Make a new script above all of your CUSTOM scripts. Call it font.

Font.default_name = "Tahoma"

And that's it.

Not a problem, it happens a lot with those scripts that supposedly "only work with the legal version." If that ever happens, and you need to use the script, make sure you have this little font "script" also. ;D
