Title: weapon ability script

is there a system like ff9 where you learn new moves from equipped weapons and AP

Just tell me exactly what set up you like, because I know how to make a character learn new moves via a common event. Though I'm not familiar with what AP means. Most likely attribute points, so if that is relivant then you should find a script that has that set up, because the skill learning via item doesn't need to be added to any script unless it is your preference to do limited work, thus dullifying the impact of your project.

E.G

BOB
ABILITIES LEARNED:
FIRE

EQUIP

   WEAPON WEAPON SKILLS
MAGE STAFF    FIRE=100 AP (Learned)
                       ICE=0 AP
                       THUNDER=0 AP

A Battle will give from 1 to 10 AP depending on monster and if its a boss or a monster

As I said, SephirothSpawn made exactly that. It's called Equipment skills and you can find it on www.hbgames.org/forums , but you have to register to see their scripts. Just search the database and you will find it.
