Is it possible to do community quests? Like I make a base that has the right tilesets and all the other stuff, then people can each make things on their own, then I combine them into a coherent whole?
Thanks,
Lotus

It would be a lot of work because then you'd have to remake what the other people did into your own game..?
OK, so there isn't a way to do importing, or copying from another quest, like you can normally copy maps from within a single quest.
EDIT: I have no idea why I hadn't just tried in the first place, but you can copy maps and events out of otherquests and into your quest. It works perfectly assuming your base Tileset and stuff is all the same, as a test I simply saved two slightly different variants of the same quest and then copied a few things over, it would appear you can move whole layers, whole maps, and single events without any hassle. If the files have the same name, it doesn't seem to work, but so long as they are different it is fine.
Read the RMXP FAQ, there is the answer how to import maps from one project to another. Use the search button to find it.
Thanks, I had cruised through the FAQ but must have missed it. When I searched I didn't get anything, I must have been using the wrong terms, I'll have to take a peak after class today.
EDIT: I read through the FAQ and noticed that section on copyng maps is actually wrong, you can simple go over to where you select your maps and hit copy and you'll copy the whole thing, events and all. Which is much easier than trying to copy everything individually.

Hey Lotus.
You should have posted in the FAQ telling me about it.
I have updated the FAQ.
