I would first of all like to apologise for doing this when there is probably another thread, but my pc for some reaosn will not load up the search results which is *ahem* me off anyway sorry, off to my question, I was wounder how you make an item that will teleport you back to a room and that will never be used up, what I want to happen is this, I want the item to teleport me to a room full of other teleports and the item to 1. not get used up and 2. to be used when ever they want (with the exception of battles of course) oh yeah and this is for RPG 2k3 thanks

Using common events, and item combinations. Make a new item, have it activate a switch, and have that switch activate a common event. Make a common event with the preconditions of Auto-Start, and this switch. This common event should teleport the player to that new screen, and turn the switch off.
Note: The item's type should be a switch, and once you click that, you'll be able to decide if it should be in or outside of a battle.
Don´t forget to make in Non-consumable to be able to use it as often as you want. Since I don´t know RM2k3, maybe you don´t have that option. In that case, just put another command in the common event DD told you of: Add the item into the inventory. That way after using it you will get another at the same moment.
For that, just change the Number of Uses Option and change it to Unlimited Use IN the item window itself. And put the Price to 0, unless you want the player to be able to sell it off. :P
Ah, I see. So there IS such an option in RM2k3. Even I learned something today.
