Hi! I'm pretty much a complete idiot when it comes to writing scripts (I literally have no idea how to go about it), so any help is appreciated. I have some really dramatic background music (Bathory! \m/) and I want to allow it to play and build up as the character walks through a dungeon and fights a set series of battles. Having used 2K a lot, I thought that if I set the background music to the same thing as the battle and victory music, the music would be continuous between the two modes. Instead, the music restarts itself when I enter battles, and considering it's an eleven minute song with a fairly lengthy and quiet intro, it completely kills the mood I'm trying to create.
I don't know if this could be fixed with scripts, but they seem to be pretty versatile. If anyone could help, I would be extremely grateful. Thank you very much!
So your using RMXP? well, if thats the case, after each set battle, you could probably use a change BGM command but raise the volume a bit every time. I've done something like this before a long time ago, but I didnt use enemies, so I dont know if it'll work. :-\

Thanks so much for your help! Guess I didn't need scripts after all. Anyway, this is a big help, so thank you!
