Title: FF Tactics CBS
Post by: Fantom on September 28, 2006, 11:52:46 AM
Is there a way of getting a Final fantasy/Onimusha tactics battle system? like having an isometric grid and your character can move say 4 squares and you can then attack anyone in range of your attacks, and having the chance of the attack hitting depend on what angle you are to your enemy( ie if you attack from behind it has a better chance than from the front) and the enemies "evade" skill? If it is can someone tell me where i can gfind one or if there isnt one could someone possibly script it for me?
Thanks

This is way too complicated as the characters would have to be scripted into the code itself (shown in the only complete Tactics game in Japanese), however there is a Tactics Maker 95 along with RPG Maker 95, somewhere on the internet.

For the ground you can use Mode 7 to take the effect of it..

There are on hbgames.org
Try the demo first and persuade the author after you try...
If fail...
Create yourself, like what I currently do.

It is public that we do not like hbgames.org.

Once again, I still stand at what I say.  Even if someone did make it a bit easier, it would still require a lot of scripting and eventing knowledge.
