Well im New to rmxp. I didn't even know about it until my brother bought it for me for my birth day.. Sorry to go off topic but it's just so people won't eat me alive like they do sometimes. Anyways how do you make an intro and and so it shows some characters moving by them selves and talking by them selves. EX: arshes come's in and starts talking to gloria and then they both move and then you take control of either one?

P.S. You can call me a noob or whatever im used to it
set Arshes as the starting party
set the start location where you want Arshes to be start
make an event on a blank spot that doesn't matter that much and set it to auto start
set a move event for Player that makes Arshes walk to where Gloria is (move right, move right, move up....)
put in a wait of a certain amount of frames equal to how long this move event takes and follow it with the messages you want to insert (do this thru guess and check by test playing)
then make a move event for one of them and copy it so you have 1 version of the move event set to Gloria and 1 do Player

at this point you can then put Erase Event
Woah I have a few questions about that how do i set to "Move Player" and how do i erase event so that this only happens once ?
under events, in the 2nd tab first column is a button with the words Move Event on it
you can set a Move Event for either the player (ur character on that map) this event (whatever this event happens to be) and any event from a list of events that are on that map
if ur not gonna use that map ever again just put Erase Event at the end of the event, this makes it so the event goes away but will come back if you revisit this map.
if ur going to use that map again use switches which are explained in the tutorial in Zeriab's signature
sorry if im bothering you but, HUH? i don't see a tab that says move.... and how do I use switches to stop the event for that it only happens once
