It's a 9 verse song I just wrote. Amazingly enough it was inspired by the death of a very young turtle we had. It didn't make me sad (it's a turtle) but it reminded me of how short some people's lives are.
One morning you look,
And you may not find,
They that you're looking for,
They're already gone.
The Circle of Life,
Is not as long for some,
They pass on,
Into Eternity.
For better or worse,
Their memories live on,
Reminding us how,
We loved them in life.
One day we shall look,
And we will not find,
Who we're looking for,
They already left,
The Circle of Life,
Is not as long for some,
They pass on,
Into Eternity.
I hear your voice,
Calling my heart,
Pulling me close to you,
Telling me you're near.
One day I looked,
And I did not find,
Who I was looking for,
They had passed On.
Oooooh oh oh oh... (Repeat 3 Times)
The circle of life,
Was not as long for you,
You passed on,
Into Eternity.
BTW: where it says repeat 3 times, that means you say it 4 times in total. It sounds better when using different octaves each time.
It's hard to explain the tune, so just go with what feels right to you.

I don't envy your song titling though. The Circle Of Life is already a popular song by Elton John. :/
On your lyrics though. They're pretty straightforward. It's more prose than poetry, if you take my meaning. Everything in it is too literal, aside from the Circle of Life descriptor that I already commented on above. It's not bad though, so keep at it and you'll eventually get better.
