Title: Voice Actors
Post by: Arrow on September 18, 2006, 03:31:28 PM
Yeah, just scroll down a bit and search through that first post. I really need these, the voices are a crucial aspect of this game.

It was a script, actually. It's like this:

Plyer within 'x' distance = draw sprite at event

You can find the script at rmrk.org.

Well, I tried, but my allergies are messed up like Zypher's, so it comes out all nasaly and congested.

So when you do THAT voice, keep yourself very calm and be sure to enunciate.

Hey, thanks Gilga, I appreciate it. You're older than me (I'm pretty sure) so you would most likely do a better job of it than I could. ;D

I lied.

Math should go to hell.

Uh....fuck.

(carry the one, multiply by pie, etc...)

So you are two years FROM being born?
Title: Re: Voice Actors
Post by: Nightwolf on September 24, 2006, 03:32:39 AM
No, I meant we're negative eightteen.

i NEVER saw 18 year olds be so interested in games.
They usually study, atleast, my bro did i think.
Title: Re: Voice Actors
Post by: Yossy on September 24, 2006, 11:43:39 PM
I only said that because when I was looking over my past post, I read it in my head as negative eightteen...

I've known people's grandmothers to be gamers, so there's no age bracket for gaming. :P

I'm having the strangest feeling that there might be a subliminal message in there.  "This and that" ... "thingy" ...  hmmmmmmmmm.

OMG MORE

Female Role- Zinaida

Voice can be anything you want, any accent, w/e. Just make sure your sound, calm and collected. This is a rival mercenary, and a special event character. I want this voice to be sort of humble, but I also want it to sound like the cold, calculating assassin that she is.

Lines are as follows:

1. You shouldn't have come here.

2. Damn it...

3. There's more to this than you realize...

4. IDIOT! Crest is using you!

5. Blitzkrieg?!

6. It's strange, I feel I've met you before.

7. This is yours...you deserve it.

8. No way, I'm not letting things end like this!

9. I've failed...

10. Ridiculous.

12. Why did you even bother?!

13. So this is it...

14. May the best pilot win.

15. URGH! Eat this!!

16. ...No!

17. What??

18. This isn't over, you can count on it!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Male Role- Blitzkrieg

This voice should be very deep (don't fake it with a soud prog, it won't work out right for this) and gruff sounding, almost raspy. This is a character that will constantly be competing with you for a paycheck, and someone who hates your GUTS. Try to put a little more emotion into this, but don't sound like something out of a cartoon.

Listed as:

1. You gotta be kiddin' me.

2. Back off, I'm in a bad mood...

3. Fine.

4. Pfff.

6. I'm gettin' sicka yer face, kid.

7. ...It seems we've got a lot in common.

8. I'll rip you apart!

9. Kisaragi will rule this Earth, you won't stop 'em, and neither will ANYONE ELSE!

10. Mother (slight pause here, then extreme emphasis on the F-word) ****!

Thanks in advance everyone, I REALLY appreciate the help. I want this game to be the best in can be, and I'm getting help in all kinds of places. I'm so happy that there are such great people out there. ;D

I think I'm the only female on the forums right now...  I would want to play this character, but like I said I have no way to record my voice.  I think you might have a hard time finding someone to play this character, Arrow.

If the spot isn't already taken I suppose I could try out for the main character, Pinfire. I've some experience voice acting and I do sound naturally british.

I think stuffy-nosed voices sound awesome, though.  You totally shouldn't have waited.

It's still stuffy, just not completely clogged. Everyone wins.

Albax11: Sure give it a shot. I can't guarantee you're going to make it in, but it'll put you in the running. I have you, an anonymous member (not sure he/she wants their name out there yet) and a member (or two, not sure) of another forum going for this. The guy at the other forum isn't too great though, he lays his "natural" accent on there way too thickly.

Hey, just record them, and whenever you have them all done (whichever set you may choose, I prefer that you only do one per person.) Just post saying so, and name the place.
